What are Watch D.O.G.S.? Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads Of Great Students) is a nationally recognized program that uses the positive influence of fathers and father-figures to be a presence in the schools and to be a positive and active role model for students at their school.

What do Watch D.O.G.S. do? Watch D.O.G.S. may read to students, eat lunch with their student and monitor lunchroom, be present at recess and in classrooms, and much more.

How do I become a Watch Dog?

1.  Submit a background check.  The link can be found under Parent Resources or you can click here to access the link.  All Watch DOG participants MUST fill out this background application every school year (even if you have done it before).  Once you submit your application, you will be set to volunteer 2-3 days after your submission.  You will not receive a confirmation; if there should be any questions in regards to your application you will be contacted directly.

2.   You may sign up for a half day or full day. 

3.   The day you volunteer, you will sign in at the front desk and be given an itinerary of your daily schedule along with a special Watch D.O.G.S. vest to wear during your visit.
